Body-building & Nutrition
Culturally, we celebrate the aesthetic of strength while often neglecting the foundation of health - our behaviors, our mindsets, and our genetics. We buy into trends based mostly on how they're marketed towards our biases, only to feel burnout when we experience injury or don't see results. Plus, Beer and Bacon taste really, really good! We get trapped in the "too much" or "not enough" cycle—too tired to start, too busy to eat well, not enough time, too unclear to plan ahead, or simply feeling like a healthy body is something meant for other people.
I know that feeling intimately. For years, I believed a strong physique wasn't in the cards for me. Between navigating a 25-year auto-immune battle, digestive issues, and the frustration of being the "tall skinny guy" who couldn't gain a pound, I felt destined to remain skinny.
But I learned that strength is more than aesthetic; it is a visual harmony of discipline and vitality. Just as a lens captures light, the body reflects the work poured into it every single day. True strength isn't about perfection or chasing PRs; it’s about a body, mind, and soul resonating with power and purpose consistently.
